Devin Booker OVER 5.5 Assists

Devin Booker is set to play the Houston Rockets and has been handing out assists with regularity. He’s basically the point guard on this team and this is a line I like tonight because of that. PrizePicks has his line set at 5.5 assists and I’m liking this over for the reasons below.

(Shown above on Outlier), we can see that Devin Booker has hit this in 69% of his games. Lines on Prizepicks don’t come around this often. There was even a stretch earlier in the season where Booker hit this in 12-straight games and also 16 of 17 games.

Looking above on Outlier we can also see his minutes chart. We notice again that in his last 20 games he has played 33.5 minutes or more in 18 of those 20 games. The two games where he played less minutes was when he got ejected and played 5 minutes and then when the Phoenix Suns beat the Wizards by 30 points.

Also, Bradley Beal, who hasn’t played since February 13th, is a game time decision. In 17 of 22 games Booker has played this year without Beal he’s hit this. Pretty cool how easy that is to filter on Outlier.

This game does have a fairly high spread at 8.5 points. A blowout is a possibility but just today 3 other games have larger spreads, so it isn’t a crazy high spread. Plus the total is high at 231.5 points, the 3rd-highest total today. DraftKings gives us the spread at 8.5 points and a high total of 231.5 points that is -118 to go over.
