D’Angelo Russell OVER 22.5 Points + Assists

D’Angelo Russell has gone over this line of 22.5 points + assists 53% of the time season but that doesn’t tell the whole story. The Lakers and Russell have been playing a lot better as of late. This has been especially good for Russell’s minutes. PrizePicks has his line set at 22.5 points + assists and I’m liking this over for the reasons below.

(Shown above on Outlier), we can see that Russell has hit this in 53% of his games which is good but what do you notice on the right side of the screen? In his last 20 games he has missed this line just 3 times.

Looking above on Outlier we can also see his minutes chart. We notice again that in his last 20 games he has played 31.7 minutes or more in 17 of those 20 games. Before that he played under 21 minutes in 4 of 6 games. In his last 20 games he’s missed this line 3 times but 2 of those games were where he played under 31 minutes. His last 4 games he’s played over 33 minutes in each.

You may think that a game between the Lakers and Clippers would heavily favor the Clippers in a low-scoring game. That’s not what Vegas believes as DraftKings gives us the spread at just 3.5 points and a high total of 234.5 points.
