Kevin Durant OVER 6.5 Assists

This is a Demon pick on PrizePicks. That means that it will be harder to hit BUT this will add a multiplier to your slip. It’s risky and you could go to Durant at over 5 assists on his normal line but I like the risk here for the reasons below:

Durant has hit this over in 5 of his last 10 games but also before his last game that was a blowout against Washington, he hit this over in 3-straight games. Also, he had a stretch right before the last game where he hit this in 5 of 7 games. Demon picks are supposed to be something that hit like 30% of the time so if we think this has a 50% chance, it is a good play.

Outlier also allows us to look at only the games where players have played a certain amount of minutes. When Durant plays at least 37 minutes this year he has hit over 6.5 assists in 52% of games (shown above).

You may think that 37 minutes is a lot, well Durant averages 37 minutes per game and he played at least 37 minutes in each of his last 9 games, besides last game in a blowout vs Washington where he played just 26 minutes. Durant has also played at least 37 minutes in 23 of of 43 games.

DraftKings gives us the spread at just 3.5 points, so expect a close game, and a high 243.5 point total, which has been as high as 245 points.
